Friends

1. Last week, I got my first hug from a patient. It was the first kid I did a full treatment session with on my ~own. It was funny because we've been having a couple of rough sessions, but last week, he came in really happy and so ready to get to work. And he asked me to play with him for most of the session, so I was surprised and had nothing prepared, but we did okay! And then at the end of the session, he gave me a hug! Three year olds give the best hugs ever. ♥.

2. Last week, I also got my first ~gift from a patient! We see these two girls, and their mom gave me a Christmas gift! And I was like...OMG. DO YOU EVEN KNOW MY NAME. LOLZ. I love her little girls though. They crack me up. ♥.

3. This week, I got another gift from one of my older patients! He's one of my favorites too. His mom is so nice, and I have a great time with him. He's def going to be one of the ones I miss the most when I'm done with my rotation.

4. We also had an ~International Pot Luck on Tuesday. OMG SO MUCH FOOD. AND I LOVE EVERYONE AT WORK. THEY ARE ALL SO HILARIOUS.

5. Today, I did 4 full treatment sessions by myself which is the most I've ever done in one day. It's pretty much going to be like this plus MORE for 3 weeks straight starting Jan 5th. So nervous! But knowing I got through today sort of helped me.

6. I am excited for tomorrow and next week though. My fieldwork educator is out tomorrow and all of next week, so I don't have such a ~heavy caseload. I only have one patient tomorrow, and one next Tuesday. PLUS - I THINK I'M JUST GOING TO COME IN ON THAT TUESDAY NEXT WEEK. LOLZ. It's going to be such a nice ~Christmas treat for me. ♥.

7. My life is all about fieldwork. Even though I've gone shopping and gone to the movies and gone out with friends - my mind just keeps thinking about what I'm going to be doing with my kids for the next day. LOLZ.

8. Um. I'm seeing Rain in concert tomorrow after work? LOLZ. ♥.

10. I'm currently trying to write/finish holiday cards for the people at my work. But LOLZ, IDEK if they are all going to be there tomorrow. :( I would have done them yesterday and brought them in today, but I FELL ASLEEP AT 9:30 LAST NIGHT. HAHA. Oh self.

ETA: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY HEARTS ALL OVER THIS ENTRY. WHY AM I LIKE THIS.
